The Ministry of the Arts & Multiculturalism launches 50th Anniversary of Independence Exhibition at Piarco International Airport

The Ministry of the Arts and Multiculturalism, through its Culture Division and Remember When Institute will launch formally a 50th Anniversary of our nation’s Independence Exhibition on Friday 3rd August at 5pm, at the Local Food Court at the Piarco International Airport.

The exhibition, which will run throughout the months of August and September, is an opportunity for all citizens of Trinidad and Tobago to renew their national pride in our history and heritage as a nation. It is also a call to celebrate who we are as a people and reflect on what we have accomplished over the past 50 years as an independent nation state.

The Ministry of the Arts and Multiculturalism hopes that this display will generate further interest in, and an appreciation of the diverse cultural heritage of Trinidad and Tobago. Visitors and residents are welcome to view the exhibition daily.
